Our April Sunday Asado featured an all star lineup. Nick Carrera our Asador, Chef Marcel Vizcarra, Chef Jeff Warne, Chef Matt Brown, Chef Chip Richards, Chef Josh Agan, Chef Sebastian Sikora, Chef Kyle Forson with his wife Marianne Forson and two culinary students from the First Coast Technical College. Plus local tomato farmer, Morrison Tomatoes brought some of our gorgeous tomatoes for his guests.

In May we took our Sunday Asado on the road and headed up the Engine 15 Brewing Downtown Tap Room. Chef Michael Lugo, Chef Josh Agan, Chef Jeff Warne and Chef Sebastian Sikora were grilling with our Asador, Nick Carrera.

Nick Carrera, owner of Urban Asado collaborated with Chef Nils Roland, Clay Nettles and Sebastien Gros to create the ultimate grilling experience all benefiting the Junior Service League of St. Augustine. This event represented the awesome collaborative spirit of St. Augustine with many businesses coming together to support this night.

Fired up the grills and cooked for the Junior Service League’s Annual Dude Party. We love supporting the volunteers in our community that make St. Augustine special.

Urban Asado brought a grill out to Genung’s Fish Camp for their World Paddle For The Planet Day benefiting Matanzas Riverkeepers. Always happy to support the local organizations that work so hard to protect out waterways.

Chef Michael Lugo and Urban Asado were happy to grill for the Marsh Creek Womens Association to raise money for local St. Augustine Charities.

Urban Asado® joined forces with Chef Deanna Stephens and Chef Fred Underhill to do a traditional Argentine Pig Roast at the Auggies Fresh or Frightening One Year Anniversary Party at the Guy Harvey Resort. Proceeds benefited Whitney Lab Turtle Hospital and Surfers for Autism.

 We always love grilling with David Hernandez for Honoring The Brave and Team River Runner. David started Honoring The Brave as a way to give back to our local Veteran Community. Every month he takes a group of local veterans for a day of fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. This year Inshore Challenge donated the proceeds of their fishing event to Honoring The Brave which will allow David to service even more Veterans. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of this event.
